Ministering at Camp

 

4th level YW and YCLs will serve the younger campers as ministering sisters while at YW Camp this year.  We will ask our older YW to serve as ministering sisters or SUPER NOVAS in the following ways: 

• Meet your sister at camp kickoff.  Find things you have in common with her and get her contact information.    
• Call her before camp.  Get to know her and help her understand what to expect at camp.
• Pray for her by name before camp and each day during camp. Make sure she is included and feels loved.
• Perform simple acts of kindness and service.
• Ensure she is receiving SunShine notes & Secret Sister gifts while at camp.
• Following up after camp 

 

Ministering requires love, sincere friendship, and a desire to strengthen others.  As we serve each other, we serve our Savior.
